How I Accidentally Revealed A Secret Learning Tarot

Early on in my spiritual journey, I decided I wanted to learn Tarot. It's fascinated me how so many readers using the same cards can always give such a different reading! I have to be honest - the cards always made me feel uneasy - The Death card, the Devil card - so I surprised myself when I decided to learn.

I found a local teacher and began my lessons. She soon changed my opinion - they don't have dark meanings at all and are actually very positive. So I had many more lessons with her which were always full of fun and light heartedness...

I'm not very good at remembering the meanings of all the cards but we went through each card one by one and the meanings of them during one of our first lessons, so I began to see if I was drawn to any particular theme in any of the pictures. She told me it would 'light up' and my reaction was 'yeah right' but actually - she was right (she must be psychic 🤣)

She would ask me to do readings for her and see what the cards told me She would often say I was spot on without really giving too much away. But this one particular surprised even me!!

I began the reading as we always did - with a hot cup of tea and natter and then got into the reading. Cards began to jump out as they always do so I spread them on the table and put them into order so that they told a story. If you know the tarot, you'll be familiar with the man in the seven of pentacles card hard at work. But what I was drawn to was how his clothing was tied at the back and I wanted to say 'tie the knot'. She nodded and said 'okay'.

As I looked at the card spread in front of me, I noticed the four of wands card at the end - the happy ending card!! It's a couple celebrating which to me always looks like a marriage. Half jokingly I looked at her and 'said Congratulations!!' She looked up at me and said 'we haven't told anyone!'

The cards revealed her marriage to her partner. It was going to be an intimate and private ceremony and the only people that knew about it was her, her partner, the celebrants and of course the tarot cards!! All I could do was laugh hysterically - surprised at my own accuracy! She acknowledged that if I ever needed confirmation of how good I am this was it!

This surprised even me as I was only learning and didn't was frustrated at myself because I could never remember the meanings. But I quickly learnt that I actually work intuitively and there's no need to.
