What makes me trauma informed
What Is Trauma Informed Coaching?

Trauma-informed coaching is a compassionate approach to healing that considers how your experiences have shaped your behaviours, patterns, and responses — and supports you in gently shifting them.
It works with your nervous system, your body, and your lived experiences — not just your mindset.
🌿 Why Mindset Work Alone Isn’t Always Enough
Many other coaches teach mindset work as:
Positive thinking
Journaling
Affirmations
“Raising your vibration”
And while these can be helpful, they often don’t go deep enough.
Because if your body still feels unsafe, no amount of positive thinking will fully land.
Trauma-informed coaching brings both together — calming the nervous system, creating safety in the body, and gently exploring the beliefs that have been shaped through your experiences.
What Trauma-Informed Coaching Looks Like
Trauma informed coaching might include:
Learning how to regulate your nervous system
Understanding your triggers without judgment
Exploring where patterns began with compassion and safety
Creating safety before creating change
Signs You Might Benefit From Trauma-Informed Coaching
This work may support you if you:
Notice you keep repeating the same patterns or relationships
Struggle to switch off or fully relax
Find it hard to set boundaries
Find it difficult to express yourself
Have tried “everything” but nothing yet seems to have worked
These are survival strategies that you learn to keep you safe, and they can be undone..
What do I know...? Because I've walked this path myself...
How I Became Trauma Informed
I didn't become trauma informed from reading a book...
I became trauma informed through real lived experiences
My mum left when I was very young. Although I have no living memory of this, it has been stored in my subconscious memory and played out as not trusting other women... or not being able to get close to others believing if I get too close, they will leave....
At the age of five, my dad remarried and there was a new dynamic in our home that felt overwhelming in ways I didn’t yet have words for. Hello to a childhood of mental, emotional and physical abuse...
When I was eleven, my sisters were taken into care — once again breaking the family system I had known.
From that point on, I developed survival strategies.
To be strong... To keep going... To figure things out on my own....
At eighteen, I left home — and didn’t return.
I built a life from the outside that looked like I was doing everything “right.”
I put myself through university... Created stability by working my way up the corporate ladder.... Owned my own home... Because that path was expected... I wanted to do well and make my grandparents proud.
But underneath, without consciously realising it, my body was still holding so much of what had never been processed.
And that’s where my real healing began. 🌿
I had to unlearn the patterns, the feelings, the ways I responded to life that I had been taught. I learnt to come back to my heart, rediscover my softness that had been hardened by a cruel world.
💗 My work today is shaped by that journey.
Because I know what it’s like to hold it all together on the outside,
while hurting on the inside. Feeling like you don't fit in. Like you have to be strong... Like no one is there for you and you have to figure it out on your own...
And I also know what it takes to gently come back to yourself —
to create safety, to soften, and to begin again.
Now, I help other women do the same.
If you're ready to release the past, to come back to your heart, to who you are underneath all of that, and be held and supported by someone who truly gets it, who has walked this path before, I'm waiting patiently for your message 💜
Because you're a Goddess.. It's just the harshness of life, your experiences has taught you to forget who you are. It's time to remember and come back to yourself 💫
